BMW GAP financing protection covers you for a loss in bike value between the amount you still owe and the value of your bike. Say you owe $18,000 on your bike loan and your bike suffers a total loss in an accident. Perhaps the value your insurance company places on your bike is $15,000, leaving you owing $3,000. BMW's GAP coverage will pay that $3,000 difference for you! It will even cover your insurance deductible up to $1,000!
